True North 34 CC

Update – April 2007

As noted already hull #1 has been sold and interest in this new model is very strong. This is excellent news as the deck tooling is still receiving the final styling touches. The mechanical outfitting of the hull has commenced has commenced with the engine and basic systems being dry fitted initially, and then removed for final hull finishing.

This contract represents the first power yacht and series build for David Lake Yachting Projects. The project requirements call for complete project management services including supervising the construction of new tooling, coordinating the design with manufacturing teams, matching labor requirements to the build schedule, sourcing and tracking equipment and maintaining the overall program time line.

From the True North Sales office – Introducing the New True North 34
Building on the success of the True North 38 and 33 power boats, Pearson Composites will introduce in June a new design True North 34. Designed for active cruising couples and families and inspired by the efficient, seaworthy New England lobster boats, the True North 34 will carry on the tradition of offering a versatile, affordable, and distinctive looking platform for fun on the water.

New features on the True North 34 include a large helm area with galley-up and a long L-shaped convertible settee that is 7' long and raised on a platform for enhanced visibility. The new hide-away transom tailgate is a great idea that will conveniently open the cockpit to the swim platform.

Taking advantage of the best technologies available, the True North 34 is offered with the Volvo D-6 series engines with common-rail fuel feed and electronic authority which deliver higher performance curves and greater efficiencies than other marine engines available today.

Take a look for yourself. If this new model, or the new flagship True North 47 due out in 2008, or perhaps the well established True North 38 is of interest, please contact the in-house sales team at 401-247-3000.
